We began a very interesting conversation about the supernatural move of God and how to unlock this move in our lives. Last week, we covered one key: Faith. So if you missed it, kindly have a look at it here.
Today we venture into another area: A superior mindset as a key to provoking the supernatural move of God.
Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
There is a progressive relationship between your thoughts and the kind of person you are.
The Power of a Superior Mindset
Consider these two animals: A cow and a lion
A cow spends the better part of the day grazing. This is why herdsboys will take cows to graze very early in the morning and return quite late (not a very bad life, huh😂)
Now consider a lion. A lion starts by mentally assessing its prey. It takes time to assess a particular gazelle’s position (even if they’re in a group, the lion will focus on one). Then, the lion calculates the distance between them and even checks for every escape route the gazelle may consider using. This means that as long as the lion has seen things align for it to get its prey in its mind, nothing will stand in its way.
There is a reason that as a believer, you are likened to a lion.
Colossians 3:2 (NIV)
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
This means that you need to allow your thoughts to be superior, and think of things above you. There is nothing that will happen in your life that you have not allowed your mind to process. Why is this so?
The Mind as the Bridge Between the Spiritual and Physical Realities
Your mind is the intermediary between your physical and spirit man.
Ephesians 1:3-6 (NLT)
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.
There are spiritual blessings that need to be translated into your physical realm, and this cannot happen without this superior mindset.
Romans 12:2 (KJV)
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
It is the renewed mindset that can pull that which is in the spirit into the physical realm. A renewed mind is not just about thinking differently. It is about seeing reality through the lens of faith. But what happens when your mind is tested? When circumstances scream the opposite of what you believe? This is where a superior mindset in the face of uncertainty becomes critical.
A Superior Mindset in the Face of Uncertainty
A superior mindset goes hand in hand with the now faith. This is the kind of mindset that allows you to have the conviction that something will happen, even though at the time, everything looks gloomy.
Mary had this kind of mindset. What the angel was telling her seemed impossible. Yet she believed the words that the angel said enough to respond: “Let it be done to me according to your word.”
Elijah had this kind of mindset, knowing that even though the clouds were quite clear, he had a strong conviction that rain was gonna come.
The Mind of Christ: The Ultimate Superior Mindset
Someone with a superior mindset is someone who has put on the mind of Christ. This is the kind of mind that helps you believe that something is going to happen and nothing can stop it.
Jesus “humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death.” But here’s the thing, Jesus knew what His death on the cross would achieve. This is why He did not consider it a robbery, coming in the likeness of man, bearing the shame, for He knew the victory that was going to come with His death.
This is why you also need to know what is in it for you. Before you believe through trials and fire, you need to know, why am I believing in this, and what am I getting from this thing that I am getting myself into. Because knowing what the end goal is will allow you to press on even in uncertainty. If a lion does not know why it is chasing a gazelle, it might end up giving up at the first sign of trouble or pain. However, a lion that knows what the gazelle is going to do for it will not stop until the gazelle is captured.
Faith as the Sixth Sense
It is so easy to give up in the face of pain. In such a situation, all your senses are bound to fail you. This is why you need something superior to keep you moving: Embracing faith as the sixth sense. Faith will allow you to keep going, to keep believing, to keep pushing until you get that thing you are believing for.
Meditation: Fortifying your Fathe Life
Meditation allows you to see. It allows you to travel into the spiritual realm and see what God has said about you. Once you see it, it becomes easier for you now to manifest it in the physical world. Allow that word of God to enter into your system until you cannot believe anything to the contrary anymore. Allow yourself to meditate on the word of God until you break forth. Until you get that which the word has said concerning you. Your victory is won or lost in the mind. This means that you need to increase your intake of the word of God if you are to win the battle of the mind.
Psalm 1:1-3 (KNJV)
1a) Blessed is the man
2But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper
Step Into Your Superior Mindset
Child of God, go forth with a superior mindset, unshaken by circumstances, unwavering in faith, and relentless in pursuit of God’s promises. Remember that as you think, so are you. Therefore, think boldly, believe fiercely, and watch the supernatural unfold in your life
So profound sir more grace as you continue leading the KN global
