The Believer’s Identity Part III
The Bible is so clear regarding our works. We do not work so that we can attain salvation or righteousness. These realities have already been availed for us. This means that anything that belongs to Christ also belongs to us. So when we say that victory belongs to Jesus, then we should also come to the realization that victory also belongs to us. If Christ is victorious, and we are in Him, then it means that we are also victorious right?
So, why do we behave like the elder son? Never accessing these realities that have been freely made available to us? As a man thinketh!
Believer’s Identity Part II
your position as a son of God is not an honorary title. It is not there just for show. There is power in the position you occupy as a son of God. When you understand who you are, and the power that God has given you in His word, you will move differently, you will speak differently and the people and the creation around you will glorify the Lord ‘cause of it.
